The TOGAF Metamodel contains the terminology and its structure as being used in [http://pubs.opengroup.org/architecture/togaf9-doc/arch/ TOGAF9]. It is not the same as the ''TOGAF Content Metamodel'', which is part of TOGAF itself and describes only the elements within the architectural work products. The TOGAF Metamodel, however, describes all main concepts of TOGAF as published in the latest version.

The TOGAF Metamodel contains the terminology and its structure as being used in TOGAF9. It is not the same as the TOGAF Content Metamodel, which is part of TOGAF itself and describes only the elements within the architectural work products. The TOGAF Metamodel, however, describes all main concepts of TOGAF as published in the latest version.

The TOGAF Metamodel is described in several views:

  2. Architecture Development Method
  3. Architecture Content Framework
  4. Enterprise Continuum
  5. TOGAF Reference Model
  6. Architecture Capability Framework
